The interface defined by the FT-CORBA specification was adapted according to the work of Lau Cheuk Lung, and is available in the following addresses:

• grouppac-2.3.0-idl.zip - contains the modified FT-CORBA IDLs and the CORBA IDLs which are necessary for its compilation
• The new versions IDLs can be found at download page.

Comparing with the original FT-CORBA specification, the LCMI specification is differentiate for the following aspects:

• Definition of interfaces for the local and global Fault Detectors (FaultDetector and HostFaultDetector);
• Definition of the interface for the Logging and Recovery services (LoggingRecovery);
• IOP tags that identify recovery messages (TAG_FT_RECOVERY_REQUEST);
• IOP tags for distributed objects groups support in large scale and partitioned (TAG_FT_PARTITIONED_GROUP);
